A native of Austin, Texas, Dr. Carter attended The University of Texas where he was a Diver on the National Champion UT Swimming and Diving Team. After graduating with High Honors in Kinesiology, he attended The University of St. Augustine, due to its reputation as a leader in Manual Therapy training. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and graduated Valedictorian of his class.
Jarod owns and runs Carter Physiotherapy, a hands-on manual physical therapy clinic focused on helping active people in Austin recover from injury so they can keep playing their sport, hitting the gym, and excelling at work. He is also the author of two books that help physical therapists launch successful private practices.
He enjoys surfing, dancing, traveling, and spending time with the girl of his dreams whom he married in April 2015.
